Eng. Bader Salmeen, UFM’s facilities management director, participated in the Kuwait Operational & Maintenance Conference and Exhibition on the 23-24th of April 2019, a step towards enhancing operation and maintenance in the Facility Management sector.
IFMA FMP Training
UFM organized the “Facility Management Professional” training course in collaboration with International Facility Management Association (IFMA) in Marina Hotel from 10th to 14th February 2019. The training course was conducted by IFMA’s accomplished instructor, Robert Blakey, and attended by UFM’s employees and facility managers from governmental and private sectors.
Conference on Facilities Management in government
UFM was the advocate for the “Conference on FM in Government” that was held in Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre on the 16-17th of December, 2018. Mr. Ahmad Al-Kandari the vice chairman and CEO of UFM highlighted the importance of facilities management in government sector by giving an interactive presentation.
KIPCO TOWER EVACUATION DRILL
The first comprehensive skyscraper full evacuation drill in Kuwait
UFM has undertaken a full evacuation drill at KIPCO tower as part of its emergency preparedness plan. As a facility management service provider, UFM places high priority for the safety of KIPCO tower tenants. UFM emergency preparedness plan is thorough, well prepared, exercises and drilled.
FM WORKSHOP
UFM facility management workshop for the public sector
UFM is keen on promoting integrated facilities management in Kuwait, specifically in the public sector. UFM has invited key personnel in various ministries and government institutions for a daylong workshop in which challenges and current issues facing the FM industry were discussed. Mr. Ali Al Suwaidi, the head of Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) and UFM management, led the workshop.

UFM is an authorized AHA first aid training center
As part of UFM commitment to health & safety, certified training for first aid and CPR were provided to our staff at UFM HQ. more than 30 security, maintenance and facility management personnel received the training and are now AHA first Aid and CPR certified.

UFM seeks continual training for employees and partners. a week-long training class was conducted at UFM HQ to deliver IFMA facility management professional, FMP, certified program. the training program was delivered by one of the leading consultant in facilities management, Mr. Michel Theriaut.
